Notifications
Soleil Clusters notifies you about @ mentions, replies to your comments, workspace invitations, boards shared with you, someone accepting an invite you sent, changes to a shoot day in your schedule, and occasional product tips. Each of the seven is its own switch in Settings under Notifications, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without signing in. The button in a product email opens a resume link that signs you back in without a code.

The last one is the one to switch off if you only want to hear about your own work. The other six are all consequences of something a person did that involves you.
Where they appear
In the app — unread indicators on the sidebar, and in the browser tab title for messages. Schedule notifications collect under Schedule in the sidebar and stay there until read, rather than vanishing with the toast that announced them.
Email only when you are away — a schedule email is sent only if you are not currently in the app. If you are, the in-app notification is the whole story and a second copy in your inbox is just noise.
Browser notifications — only if you grant permission. Nothing is requested until there is an actual reason to ask.
Email — for things you would want to know about while not looking at the app.
Getting back in from an email
The button in a product email goes to /resume, not to the sign-in form. Press Open my clusters and you are signed in and taken to the board the email is about — no code to fetch from a second email, no password.
The link is good for one press and expires after seven days. Press it twice, forward the email, or leave it a fortnight and it politely falls back to ordinary sign-in, which still gets you to the same place.
It only signs you in when you press the button. Loading the page does nothing — mail providers and security scanners routinely open links in your mail before you do, and a link that signed you in on load would be spent by a robot.
Unsubscribing
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without signing in. Unsubscribing from email does not turn off in-app notifications; those are separate.
Mentions
The mention notification is the important one. When someone @s you, the notification links to the exact card, comment or passage, not just to the board — see Links and mentions.
Schedule changes
The schedule card is being rebuilt, and publishing a shoot day is part of that rebuild. The switch is here and the sidebar section is here; nothing is sent yet.
When it returns, this is the one that matters on a production schedule: a shoot day moving, or a call sheet being published, tells everyone who can read it what changed. Nothing is sent while a schedule is being built — a day is a draft until someone publishes it, and drafts are silent, so laying out a twelve-week shoot does not page anybody.
Frequently asked questions
Can I turn off product emails but keep mentions?
Yes. The seven categories are independent switches. Product tips and check-ins are the one to turn off if you only want the ones about your work.
Where do schedule notifications appear?
Under Schedule in the sidebar, which carries an unread count. Unlike a toast, they persist until you read them. The schedule card that produces them is being rebuilt, so this switch is quiet for now.
Do I get browser notifications?
Only if you grant permission. Nothing is requested until there is a reason.
How do I unsubscribe without logging in?
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link that works logged out.
Do I need to sign in again when I click a link in an email?
No. The button in a product email opens a resume link that signs you in on one press and takes you to the board it mentions. It works once and expires after seven days; after that you sign in normally.
